Kevin L. Spann

In 1991 Kevin began his career in the insurance industry. In 2003 he founded The Parker Group Insurance Services, Inc. and serves as President and CEO. His company specializes in employee benefits including voluntary benefits, group plans, property & casualty, brokerage services, benefit communications, core & voluntary benefit enrollments, third-party administration (TPA), and individual benefits.

His career began in the field as a Benefits Counselor with USAble Life. His roles included sales, upper management and National Sales Manager where he led the charge of expanding this regional company into a national carrier. Targeting strategic affiliations with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans around the country, Kevin was charged with ensuring success as BCBS plans entered the “worksite marketing” arena. BCBS plan affiliations implemented were Hawaii, North Dakota, Arizona, Iowa, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

In 1999, Kevin assumed a new role as Regional Director for Allstate Workplace Division. Charged with developing a new market and establishing an office from “scratch”, Sacramento was selected as the hub for the Northern California-Nevada territory. The project was a quick success evident in the attainment of ranking 3rd of 21 regions in the nation in its first 18 months of operation.

The rapidly expanding marketplace and vast experience in start-up operations, lead to Kevin’s entry into the independent agent realm in October of 2001. Since then he has focused on the establishment and development of his firm’s operations regionally centered in Northern California with a nationwide presence. Marketing alliances and sales partners consist of the nation’s leading insurance carriers, premier independent enrollment entities, and technology vendors that have emerged as ever increasing crucial element in the employee benefit sector today. Kevin has been targeted and chosen as a preferred marketing and distribution arm by each of these entities.

He currently serves as President & CEO of The Parker Group, Inc. a firm that he founded and operates in Fair Oaks, CA. In May of 2007 he acquisitioned and now operates CBSolutions, LLC, a firm based in Issaquah, WA (Seattle). Kevin is a member of Workplace Benefits Association, MI2, and National Producer Insight Panel. Kevin is also a member of Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church and resides in Fair Oaks, California with his wife Jennifer, and son Mathan and daughter Isabella.
