Leith Dist
Account Executive
The Parker Group Pacific-NW Region
Leith came on board with The Parker Group/CBSolutions in 2008
and brought with her a wealth of knowledge and experience to our
organization.
She started her career as a medical assistant and remained in
the field for 13 years until making the decision to venture into
the insurance business. She began her insurance career as a
medical claims processor for Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of
Oregon and then became a Certified Workers Compensation
adjudicator for Safeway Stores, Inc.
During the 1980s there was a restructuring of Oregon Workers
Compensation and with that came MCOs in Oregon for employers.
Providence Health Plans of Oregon played an integral part in
providing Workers Compensation MCOs for employers of which Leith
was hired on the ground floor of this program to service their
clients. One of her clients was Tri-County Metropolitan
Transportation (Tri-Met) of which recruited her as their
Benefits Administrator to handle return to work, wellness,
employee benefits programs, and LTD self funded claims
adjudication, and FMLA/OFLA administration. During her time at
Tri-Met while working full time, she returned to Washington
State University for certification in Human Resource Management.
Leith enjoyed a rewarding career with Tri-Met working with
employees, and benefit consultants for Tri-Met during her 8
years of employment.
Upon leaving Tri-Met in 1999, Leith accepted a position with ODS
Health Plans and managed the Flexible Spending Account
department for two years until 9/11 occurred at which time she
decided to strike out on her own to secure her agent insurance
license in Washington and Oregon, marketing to individuals,
groups, and voluntary benefits.
Leith is currently an Account Executive with The Parker Group
Pacific Northwest Region, formerly known as CBSolutions.
